Tucker brings 20+ years as a teacher and as an administrator in boarding and day schools to his work in leadership search. Tucker served in a variety of roles at Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT), including Dean of Admission of the Upper School, Dean of Student Life and Academic Dean. Tucker prides himself on effectively engaging in the relational nature of school life and believes strongly in the potential independent schools have to shape the character, interests and abilities of young people.

He has been a trusted voice on leadership teams and uses similar skills as he partners with heads of school and hiring teams in his current work. Tucker and his family live in the Boston area where his children attend independent schools and he continues to coach in the afternoons.

Tucker has been thrilled to grow Big Back Pack’s presence in New England, leading several finance (DFO, CFO) and advancement (Director of Development, Director of Advancement) searches at a range of AISNE schools, boarding and day. A graduate of Deerfield Academy and Bowdoin College, Tucker holds a master's degree from the Klingenstein Center at Teachers College at Columbia University.
